Bad Ass Scooter Gang

Blogged under friends, scooter on Thursday 21 August 2008 at 7:26 am

Some of my favorite people are in SLC visiting this week: my friend Scotty and his girlfriend Kelli are here from San Diego.

Kelli has been thinking about buying a scooter so I took mine over to show her. After riding around for a few minutes she was hooked, and ordered one as well.

Finally someone to start a scooter gang with! Sure, living so far away from one another will make for impossible weekly rides, but our scooter girl tattoos will still look cute!

what kind of scooter do you have? is that a vespa or another kind? (sorry I’m late to the Sarah party and probably missed a post about it)

Kelli looks killer on your scooter, good thing she ordered one. My friend Billie also rides a pink scooter in SLC, maybe you’ve seen her around.

Damn. Perhaps I should have ordered a pink scooter instead of a blue one. But no one could look as hot on a pink scooter as Sarah. No one!

Very cute- see, kids and husband totally cramp your style when it comes to fun stuff like this! Maybe I should start a minivan gang- fucking lame- just not the same!

Where did you order your scooter from? Would you recommend them?

My friend and I have been scooter shopping for a few months now, but have find “the One”.

Also, let not Ali Baba ruin thy self image so! Yours is not a Bad Ass Scooter Gang, but a Good Ass Scooter Gang, better than all the Ass Scooter Gangs this side of the Ganges!

That’s awesome. That’s all it takes for someone to get hooked is to ride one and see how easy they are. And of course, the pink helps.

Very cool, but I’m still too chicken to get on one let alone buy one! I didn’t know you and Kelli were friends, but after reading both of your blogs I can totally see it! Glad you were able to get her some wine and coffee unlike that last place in Seattle she visited!
