Note to self: It’s flip-flop season, not high-heel season.  I HAVE to start dating shorter men as soon as possible.  My arches will thank me later.  dsc07396.JPG

Sigh. I remember when flip flops were called thongs. Maybe it’s better now that we call them ‘flip flops’ because “thong season” changes the whole meaning of your post…

For me they were always flip flops and will always be. But speaking of thongs, the new lawsuit some lady has against Victoria Secret for a defective thong is pretty funny. Oh, and for the record I’m a shorter guy.

Oh, and did you see the world’s ugliest dog competition?

Sarah, I’m 5′10 and local. I’d love to take you out to dinner and drinks. Email me back if you’re interested.

Awww, Trent, love at first blog:)

I hear ya, except my hubby is shorter than me, so it’s always flats for me, otherwise, I jeopardize his manhood.

Trent man, I think I’m a better match for Sarah. I’m 5′8 and love a girl in a great thong. Er flipflops.

At least you’re not spanish and don’t have to refer to them as, “chanklas.” Which by the way, when said really loudly could double as an insult.

Cart says you need to clean your house, and put shoes away!

Sarah, aren’t you like 5′4? I’m only guessing from your pictures. You look relatively petite to me. I could be wrong though. What constitutes a “shorter man?”

Your dog is just too cute!!!

I’m still trying to convince myself to wear my flip flops.
Every summer/spring - this year summer - I dread the period of flip flop wearing, where the part in between my toes gets rubbed a little raw. Lovely.

Sarah thinks she is 5′7″ but is actually shorter, but we won’t say by how much. I remember the day we measured her at work and she refused to believe the accuracy of the tape measure. And she thinks AK and I are both short and we are both 5′9″. And every guy I have seen her with has been 6′4″ or taller.

Cute shoes should never be out of season. Besides flip flops are evidently worse for you than the heels.

So go grab those stilettos and hang out with the tall guys. ;-)

That is a lot of flip flops!

Sarah, take it from a tall girl, stick to the heels honey. The legs look better, the butt looks better and wusses who are intimidated by a tall girl stay away.

I think you and I have the same flip flop collection. Those tan ones with the turquoise stone in ‘em and the black ones with the rattan bottoms? I have both of those myself.

    BTW, how’s that rash?

    Did the cream help?

    Dear Sarah…
If you move to San Diego, it is flip-flop season pretty much all year! Scott and I will totally take you in.

I have those same american eagle leather flip flops–i’m so glad someone else’s pair looks like that too! so cute, so groady after awhile.

I’ve already broken my favorite flip flops of the season. And I’m 5 foot nothing. I’m wearing heels.
