Hey Sarah, you have a letter here from 50 North Temple. Apparently, you have been called to serve in the Lagos, Nigeria mission. Stop by the clinic and get your series of shots. They want you at the MTC by next Wednesday, ok?

The dog has to stay here. It's been nice working with you.

It's great when the younger siblings decide to marry and procreate first...

Dave, I worked closely with many Brazilians while in Bolivia. (I've yet to make it to Brazil myself.) I'd suggest that you'd be fine - the Brazilians are so much fun you won't need to speak a common language. Almost all recommended skipping Rio and the south. Instead, they strongly urged going to Recife or Fortaleza in the north, especially for carnivale, as it is safer and much more fun....of course, most who said this were from Recife and Fortaleza....

i have a friend who went to the porte alegre south mission in 1998. but since your brother never went, i guess they never met.

btw, what are his thoughts on brazil? i'd love to visit someday, but admittedly i'm a little more nervous about travelling there without somebody who speaks portuguese ... english isn't spoken by most of the population unlike europe and chunks of asia...

That's a crummy thing to say. I'm sure he made the right choice for himself. It's not for everyone.
