a geek is a geek is a geek….

nerds.1 a geek is a geek is a geek....sometimes i threaten that i need new friends, of course, i never really mean it. they don’t come better than my geek squad, these guys would do anything for me. while fantastic guys, they are however, total and complete geeks.

these are the topics discussed over lunch today:

racing/nascar
significant digits
recycling
bio-diesel
air force flight pilot handle names
bluetooth technology

do you feel my pain? occasionally, we discuss things that actually interest me….

Every time you share me I won't punch a kitten!

    You have my sympathies.

Poor thing. You do need girlfriends. Aren’t there women in your office?

  3. Comment 3by ak — April 27, 2006 @ 2:57 pm

uhh, NASCAR WAS NEVER DISCUSSED, except to explain, repeatedly, that NASCAR was not being discussed.

anon chick: women in our office? if you only knew….

  5. Comment 5by sarahbellum — April 27, 2006 @ 3:04 pm

    abby: thanks, i think?

anon chick: the women in my office attempt to “girl talk” with me. this is not allowed. i would much rather discuss heavy equipment over certain subjects. trust me, the geeks are the hot choice, minus the hot. ak is correct, it’s bad.

ak: discussing that we weren’t discussing nascar counts as discussing nascar. whew, that was exhausting….

You need one of those ‘I heart Geeks’ shirts. And where are you in the pic? There needs to be the blonde bombshell!

If you’re looking for a geek who is an expert on NASCAR – look no further.

Those geeks are lucky to have you. If I talked about that stuff, I think everyone woman I know would jet. I hope they appreciate what they got.

Kudos to Dennis for calling it like it is. Them are some lucky Geeks!

anon: i have a “i heart skinny guys with glasses” shirt. does that suffice?

toad: auggghhh, more nascar fans?! who are you people??

dennis: i like their geeky subjects. sometimes. as for lucky to have me, the feeling is mutual….i hope.

    j: yeah, they’re lucky, as am i….

hmm, at lunch today we talked about the audi s4 vs. the bmw m3. that’s not QUITE as bad as nascar…

    but significant digits?

    wow.

    just…

    wow.

Damn that’s a fine bit of conversation there. It would be fun to remix it with a really nice beat.

You need to get one of your geeks to get you a really hyper-mod blogger template, however. I suggest a pink theme.

dave: we discuss audi cars regularly, but sig figs? you’re right…wow.

theorris: i’ve thought about a pink blog, but most my readers are men. don’t want to scare them away with pink goodness!
